My mistake. At first glance it did look like a bi-color.
The purple tang is a cool fish. Within a few days it was eating out of my hand.

I have had this puffer in a 20 gal freshwater tank for about 4 years. He is a fin nipper and can not be kept with 99% of all other freshwater fish, this is the reason it lived by itself in the 20 gal. A few months back I my saw my LFS keeping these in saltwater and decided to begin acclimating mine to saltwater. These fish naturally migrate from brackish water to saltwater when they become adults. He seems much happier since I moved him into my refugium/sump.
