Thanks for the welcome
I'm new to the hobby but have learned a lot from my bf who has had tanks for years.

My Tank
I decided to try my hand at a pico reef for my first tank, so I have a little 2.5g that's been set up for about 3 weeks now. His latest is a 55g that we've had up and running for about 3 months. I'll try to get some good pics and post them.

Welcome! Please share some pics. What kind of corals do you currently keep?

Well I just had a few issues with my 2.5 so all of my corals are living in the big tank for a while. So far we’ve got some easy shrooms and zoos, as well as xenia, a couple trumpets, star polyps, and a little torch frag. Here is a full tank shot of the 55g, you can’t see a lot and it looks a lot smaller and emptier than it is but the light looks great.

The 55 is looking great. Nano tanks are hard to keep stable. I have always heard the solution to pollution is dillution(sorry my spelling is terrible.) You are on the right track for someone whos new. Softies are easier to keep.
