I have always stayed away from damsels because of their aggressive tendencies, but your flame damsel is really nice.

Edit: I thought I posted a thumbs up smilie. But they mysteriously turn into thumbs down when I post the reply. Hmmm. Let me see if I can find another. Here we go -

This tank will be broken down as of wednesday.

Peterock 03-08-2006 07:29 PM

So what happened to your tank.... Why are you breaking it down?

D12monkey 03-08-2006 08:05 PM

Upgrading the tanks to a 155 bowfront. So need to make room. I might take it to the office and keep it there.

That would be nice.

FragOutpost 03-08-2006 08:05 PM

He is taking down all of his tanks and setting up a 155 gallon tank. I think he said the tank was arriving today.

Edit - Meant 155 not 500

D12monkey 03-08-2006 08:11 PM

:-p 500 gal bowfront.... I wish... LOL... the tank got moved back it'll be here on Friday.

dickie52 03-08-2006 08:23 PM

Just when I was getting into the nano thread.......:D

The new tank sounds great!!! May run a dollar or two more to stock than the nano.....:p :p

Peterock 03-08-2006 10:30 PM

Too be exact it will only cost $1.75 plus tax daily to run a 500 over a 5 gallon nano.....:notworthy

LOL and how the heckydurn you figure that out. There's a lot of variables to compare.

D12monkey 03-08-2006 10:41 PM

And for the record it's a 155 bowfront. LOL

FragOutpost 03-08-2006 10:50 PM

I don't want to know how much my tank costs me between additives, electricity, livestock, etc. :D

D12monkey 03-08-2006 10:58 PM

LOL with my lighting I definately don't want to know.

Teeka01 03-08-2006 10:59 PM

I think the bowfront is a very nice tank. I wanted one but didn't want to go the extra $$$.

Peterock 03-08-2006 11:37 PM

I will never go back to a bow front tank again except if the wife lets me tear down the wall in the basement i want a custom 500 with the reverse bow in it.

FragOutpost 03-08-2006 11:41 PM

Reverse bows are interesting tanks. I have only seen one before and it housed cichlids.

D12monkey 03-09-2006 06:44 AM

My dream tank would be a 1000 in-wall long wave tank.

EvilTwin 03-09-2006 07:06 AM

Everything I've read about bowfront and wave tanks makes me think they are a bit overrated. Sure they have some appeal but I would imagine it must make taking pictures very difficult with the curved glass.

Teeka01 03-09-2006 07:20 AM

Wow that is 1 big tank.

That is true but you can learn to compensate for the curvature of the glass.
