Hi all Im new to the board. I have had an aquapod 24 with the Sunpod 150w 14k lighting for a couple months. The thing thats bugging me is that it doesnt seem to bring the colors out in my corals. They seem to be white or faded looking if i use the blue nightlights they glow good. I tried changing to a 150w 20k but that doesnt look much diffrent. I was considering getting the Current USA 24"Outer OrbitMH and PC & Lunar StripDimensions:24" x 15" x 4.25"
# of Bulbs & Type: 1 150 HQI 10k Metal Halide, 2 65w Dual Actinic 420nm/ 460nm
Total Wattage: 280 watts
# of Moon White Lunars: 4i heard the actinics would bring out the coral. Does anyone have any other feed back on this idea. I will try and put some pics of my tank up. Thanks John

First off. Nice tank/ pictures.

The lighting that you have does bring out the "glow" but if you want more check out the current usa T5 actinic fixture. you prob would only need one. for that size tank and it would run from $15-$25.
